- Legal claim
- Neither a share nor a fund unit: a transferable note ("deRWA") backed by shares of the Janus Henderson Anemoy S&P 500 Index Fund, which licenses the index from S&P Dow Jones. The note moves freely between wallets without KYC - that is the whole point of the wrapper - while the fund share class behind it stays whitelisted. Secondary coverage calls it a Reg S instrument, which fits the non-US-only terms.
- Custody
- Anemoy issues the whitelisted fund share class; those shares sit behind the note. Centrifuge does not publish which entity holds them.
- Redemption
- Subscription and redemption with the issuer are open to non-US persons who pass KYC and sanctions screening. Without that, the exit is the DEX pool - the instant-exit venues Centrifuge lists serve the whitelisted fund tokens, not the notes.
- Eligibility
- Non-US persons not under sanctions. Holding the note needs no KYC; dealing with the issuer does.
- Token standard
- ERC-20 on Base, 18 decimals, onchain name "S&P 500 DeFi (Centrifuge)".
- Dividends & splits
- Accumulating: index income stays in the fund's NAV instead of being paid out.
- Verification status
- Structure read on 2026-10-28 from Centrifuge's and Janus Henderson's launch coverage and from Alea Research's review of deRWA holders (the one source that spells out the note layer); contract name, symbol, decimals and supply read from Base the same day.
